Very nice bud

To add a bit more realism on top of the ecellent result so far I would add a bit of dirtynuts or a bit of other diffusion around just the inner edge of the wheels where the dust and dirt would settle after being kicked up,and I would repeat this process wth the front air intake area around the edges as more dust and crap would end up in this area.I would also maybe add a little more specular to the metal aprts up front to signify wear from the crap being thrown up from the front of the car as its racing :)

But its very nice work

Hey stu,

Yep that sounds like a good idear i havent used dirtyNuts yet ill hav a play. Not shore if the producer wants it to be dirty or clean yet but worth a crack.

Dont forget to tell the producer you could get some really nice controlled reflections in the paint with Praline :D ......its worth a shot,he might cave you never know

Just another quick thought I had was if the car is going to be composited on its own I would get a car mag and find a racing circuit, scan the sucker and chuck it in the reflection channel or environment channel for the paintwork,or even a landscape would also work.

very nice stuff.
I like kiwi's idea about the reflections and dirty up a v little.
Getting perspective from a more racing look background would help. I know you were playing about on the last image, but don't like the motion blur, wrong angle for start, only at back, and there is a fence at the back. Sounds a bit harsh really considering it was just a mess about image. We get the idea I love the model and its rim its very very nice work...and should if anybody has any sense get you more work.

Thats a great model Mike

The car in its environment is on the wrong angle for the corner.Racing cars go in low and come out high on the corners, unless you are Schumacher who takes a different racng line altogether then everyone else :D
