this is my first digital painting, and I wouldn't mind ay advice any one had to give, I would like it to be realistic and yet slightly stylized. any crits or suggestions would be welcome. I will do a lot more work to this. I am trying to figure out how to attach a decent size pic any help on that would be appreciated as well.

please visit http://eyetooth-art.co.uk/testing/angel(colour).jpg to view the pic.

I think the image is lookin decent so far. You may want to paint your own background though, it looks as if it is comped in. and center compositions arent as interesting as if you moved the focal point around. Just a suggestion, but maybe move her a scaoch to the left or right could make things a bit more interesting. But she is lookin good!

I like the style, looks pretty. Is that a picture of Durdle Door I see in the background (I recognized beacuase I live near there ;))? It's a nice touch but in someways distracting. I think this piece would looks better eaither on a painted background or just a plain white background.

Nice work so far :D

thanks for your comments. I will have to try and paint in the background, but i am primarily working on the character at the moment, the background is a photo that a friend of mine took somewhere along thr coast of UK. I have had to change elements of it to try and get the right perspective.

My web host does not support image linking so please click on the url to view the image.

thanks again
