View Full Version : How do you close of holes with NURBS?
BelieverDeceiver 02-26-2005, 06:40 PM Another question. How do you close holes with nurbs. In poly its easy its just simple fill holes. How would I do this with Nurbs? There has to be an easy way to do this Im just not sure how. I see an option for open/close surface but im not getting the results I desire. For instance if I created a nurbs cylinder, how would i close the top of it off?

If the hole is flat then just select the curve that bounds it and use NURBS->Planar. (if you only have an isoparm there, use Duplicate Surface Curve to make it into a curve). Otherwise you might need skinning which is more complicated. (if you are modeling with NURBS try to avoid building things that need to be skinned if possible)
