Rothbart talks to vfxblog about The Orphanage's contribution to The Day After Tomorrow, providing a detailed look at the fully digital helicopter crash sequence. The 2004 film was recently awarded a BAFTA for Achievement in Special Visual Effects.

The O rocks, but I have to admit I'm still having a few nightmares from that helicopter crash sequence. Good interview.
