selectPriority -cl 11; if you want it to select that before say an ikhandle or handle;

use selectPriority -q *type to query* to find how high you need to go, if the same number is used as another object then both objects are selected. e.g. cluster of 10 and ikhandle of 10, when marquee is dragged both are selected.

so this means the higher the number the priority is higher?

well I just don't really know what those numbers mean!

the best way to learn in life is to play.

i created an IK handle (high selection order) and a cluster (not high)

so 2 joints with an IK handle and a single nurbs cv with a cluster applied.

then i used the -q flag to find out what thier prioity was, the higher the number the higher its priority, then to check I marqueed over them.

play, you won't break anything.
