Kind of, I feel that the warmth in my life is gone. Sort of like being trapped in the middle of a huge city with no one else around.

I love your illustration the second especially, it capture the feelings that your trying to portray very well. Damn nice job :), I cant figure out a good compliment so Ill just say Im saving then to my hard drive for future reference :)

Alright! Now he's sad ... I like this one a lot better. The lighting on his clothing reminds me of the guy who did all those Olympic posters awhile back (1984 Summer games?). I think the name was Leroy Neeman or Leonard? I dunno ... that was a time ago. He also did some of the art for Wheaties cereal boxes.

Anyway ... back to your illustration. My first reaction to the colors was "happy" but after a bit I think it actually works for this one. It's like Love is all around him yet he's sad because he's been a victim to it. Does that make sense? The target on his chest is good too. But I liked the previous design with the heart around it. That made it more clear what is being shot at.

Not much else to critique ... it all looks good. Unless you want to add more elements to help tell the story a bit more. A boquet of wilted daisies perhaps? Not really needed, but I felt I should offer something else. :hmm:
