l've looked every where but cannot seem to find any info regarding how to setup your posemixer morphs (if there is a certain way) to then export over to MB 5.5 and have them work. Does anyone know what the work flow is ?

--there is no need because it simply works:
a posemixer setup with morphs is automatically available in MB as Face--you will manually have to activate it in MB after you have created a face for your character, though.
Re-Importing Morph animation in c4d will automatically create a Posemixer with a certain hierarchy (Morph targets will be child of Posemixer).

Thanks Olli, l did some trial and error after watching a 3DBuzz tutorial and l think l've got the workflow worked out. But just one thing l did notice was that l had a upper and lower set of teeth for the face that where both seperate objects , now when l did the posemixer setups in C4D for those objects l moved the whole object as in rotation and forward & backward which wasn't a problem in C4D but in MB the morphs didn't work. When l done the same movements again but moved the points and not the object it worked in MB, does this seem right in that MB only sees posemixers where the movement is in a point, polygon or edge but not if it's the whole object ?

hmm--never tried anything but point morphs, so this might very well be the case.
