I think you were too fast... first time doing a html link. I was probably fixing it a the moment you tried...

I like it a lot!!! maybe the animation of the caterpillar is a little bit too "robotic"... but beside that it totally rocks! :buttrock: - also love the word "partikelfilterbonus"

Hey man,
lookin good overall, the caterpillar blended really well into the scene I must say...while the animation does look a little mechanical it's hard to say in a general sense of caterpillar movement! You pulled it off quite nicely though :) Congrats!

i really hope there will be other projects like this. creating the textures was big fun. :)

Looovely!:applause:
The commercial is awesome stuff! I hope I get to animate like that...:applause: But just to let you know...I agree...the caterpillar is a bit robotic (repetitive, and not enough character). I suggest to let it look back to see what it has done so far. I remember observing a caterpillar, and believe you me...it does move just like what you have...only it flowy and its upper body moves to look around. Play with that a bit...
Awesome...Awesome work you guys:applause:

Thanks for the replies!
Loulu79: I know exactly what you mean. The thing is, the whole concept behind that commercial forced me to that "straight forward" movement. Otherwise the caterpillar wouldnt make enough distance in time...
Other thing, if somebody has seen the documentary "micrososmos" remember the scene of hundreds of caterpillar moving in line... very repetetive and fast...
cheers
