View Full Version : - Script to Check Light Passes

I usually check how individual lights look before rendering (usually save as a pass for composition). I got tired of manually excluding and including them, so I whipped up a simple script to do it. Just select the light you want to check, hit the Set button, and render (F9). Once done, you can reset things with the click of a button.

Since I whipped this up so fast, it might be a big buggy. Give it a try if you might find it useful. I know it'll make my days a little easier.

I am an idiot. It does thats->select 1 light and all other auto turn off.

( dumb phrase: but isn't checking them of in the Scene editor much faster or am i Great script.

Anyone has "AfterEffects in Production" book.

There is a occulsion pass and the GI pass that are part of the tutorial.

the GI pass would be great for this or closely related plugin...

where u can assign gi lights and then turn them off and the normal lights turn on.
