View Full Version : Non-streching fabric with spacewarps
RichardBlank 02-24-2005, 11:04 AM Is there anyway to make, for example a flag, that won't strech when you put on a wave spacewarp?

Why not use something like Reactor or Simcloth to get the flag a flappin! :) If you need a sample file I have one using Simcloth that you can have. Really easy to setup and really fast simming times...let me know if you want it and I'll email it to ya.

Oh, one more thing...what version of Max are you using? Need to know that so I can send you the Simcloth plugin as well. (it's a freebie from Chaos so no worries:D)

No worries man...my pleasure. Here's a link the a zipped file containing a cloth test (more like a curtain but you'll get the idea when you open the file and figure out how it works.) Also a little avi of what it looks like, and the Simcloth plugin for Max6/7. If you have any troubles opening the file or questions regarding the plugin lemme know and I'll answer to the best of my knowledge.
hope this helps
