I am making a living room with a wooden floor. All the walls are white.
Because of the color bleeding the walls and the ceiling al get brown. Is there a way to make the color bleeding that is coming from the wooden floor less ? So not the overall color bleeding, but from one particular object.

I am rendering with mental ray --> GI and FG

Lower the 'Irradiance Color', there is a search button!

after a quick search I found 2 threads with good info for you:

For ultimate control use francescaluca's ctrl_irradiance mental ray shader. There is a lot of documentation on this site and elsewhere about how to set it up.
