I have this problem repeatedly and I haven't found a way to fix it yet.

I get these weird dark areas around the collar and cuffs of the sleeve. Is there shadow parameter in the regular attributes (ie: depth map or raytrace) that I need to be fussing with? So far, since this only appears in GIJoe, I've only been messing with the shadow settings in the GiJoe control panel with more or less the same strange shadowing. Any advice would be appreciated.

Why don't you use Dirtmap, or mr occ shader (6.5) plus some lights ? It can give you much better results for this. It's been long time since I used GI_Joe...
