Software Division Manager
Frantic Films is looking for a Manager for their software division to assume the responsibilities of the general operation, sales and strategic direction.
Duties:
Work with corporate manager and senior software architects to develop a strategic plan for development in the department
Evaluate existing products and marketing efforts and develop a strategy build sales revenue – strategy may require the manager to manage sales functions for products
Manage co-development deals with different vendors
Supervise the staff in the department
Regularly report to corporate management on the performance of the department
Supervise and administer SR&ED and IRAP projects and reporting
Essential Criteria:
· Strong interpersonal skills.
· Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
· A good sense of urgency and business orientation.
· A person who is able to think strategically and conceptually while managing details.
· Ability to work independently but a strong team player.
· Must be able to handle multiple tasks in a diverse high volume environment.
· Strong problem solving skills.
Desirable Criteria:
Experience in working in the software industry is a must but direct management experience is not 100% necessary but important.
Marketing and sales experience is an asset.
Remuneration will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Applications are being accepted for a full week for this position.
