Hi,

I have just finished a quick animation that I have been producing in my spare time.

I wanted a self confident character, yet easily scared - if that’s possible. I tried to go extreme with the poses and keep the motion fast paced.

I wanted to do something ala the 10 second club, but without using the same sound files as have been used by others before. I spent a while downloading funny sound clips from different sites. To me it sounded like the voice was coming from a megaphone hence the weird speaker pole.

Thing is now I can't remember the film the clip comes from as I downloaded it weeks ago along with several other clips, does anyone remember this film?

Anyway, I hope you enjoy and please let me know what you think.

Some really nice elements in there man. Nice quirky walk he has at the start and a good funny ending.

I think maybe his surprise at seeing the loud speaker near the start is maybe over-acted a little with his body. Although you say you are pushing for the extremes so in that sense its fine.

Good stuff, would like to see more! What does everyone else think?

Glad you liked it PCollier! Yeah, i like the bit when he sees the speaker, its very over the top, but I wanted him to act like he has never seen one before and from then on is scared stiff of it, until the end that is...

It'd be nice if it had a point, I don't get the guy's reaction to what the speaker says: It seems ot be accusing him but he's all happy about it. Maybe I just missed something.
The character animation is good though, no comment on that side.

yes, I agree about the ending. I had a version where he would be all sad right until the end about being accused, but I decided just to try and make him look happy and realise that he was proud of everything he has done.

I started this just as a walk cycle, but ended up adding and adding to it until the end result.

Perhaps it seems as he is being offered a list of options by his happy reaction...but in the end it was fun to do and I wanted to practice character animation.

I personally thought he was happy because the speaker said he was the way he was because of all the "unspeakable orgy's" hehe
