Fantastic stuff - really nice character. Personally, im not keen on the whole elf thing (its been done to death) but its an amazing pic.
Great face, good materials, and nice details on the costume.
The only crits i can see is that the transparent drape could use more smoothing - i can see some poly edges, and that the whole thing seems to be glowing, which causes problems with the hair transparency.

Minor points aside, very good job, and i hope you get frontpage and an award for this - elf women are popular on this forum!

Beautiful stuff- she looks great. Although I'm not a great fan of elves & orcs & magical dwarves as subject matter for cg models, I have to sit up & take notice of a model this good. My only tiny crit would be that i don't think the glow works that well with some of the transparency on her hair. Otherwise, fantastic work.

Yes I agree with that. And BBYAG if you make the neck thinner the head will also fit better. The face will look longer by that and better looking. And I think it also fits elfs better to have a long/thin face/neck.

EDIT: And her hair is totally wrong.. Its suppose to go straight over the head with the nose line.

And Shizumaoru(sounds lkie Japanese to me), the image is huge and if your interenet connection is slow, you might have to wait awhile to see the whole pic.

I myself had a trouble to see the image and I am so sorry to be in China where internet is just modem level and I do miss Korea now just for light speedy internet.

(If anyone tells you China is growing fast, that doesn't mean so is their internet speed. trust me it's reaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaal sloooooooooooooooooooooooow)

My Opinion is....unless the piece is horrible or has HUGE problems.....don't say anything bad or negative about it. Keep a person's confidence up. A person works VERY hard to create something like that.

If you pick on such small and minor details, be sure you can do it yourself or better. I understand that people welcome critiques and comments and i understand that they help, but use them wisely, use them in moderation when they REALLY need it.

WOW! Absolutely a fantastic picture. The work here is outstanding! Great Job!! Just a small critique; The lighting is just about perfect. There is possibly some postwork shading that may need to be done. The flow of her shear clothing is very nice, but humbly I think, if you can clean up some of those jagged edges, it would seem a lot more flowing. Please keep up the great work. Thanks for sharing.

Of course the image looks pretty good, but here are some things I noticed. The shadow around her armpit area does not look quite dark enough, her neck could use a bit more definition because it looks to much like a cylinder, also her head could be a touch larger. The ball of her left foot is not large enough, it seems as if the bottom part was cut off, I mean the "ball" on the front of the foot is larger then the rear which of course is not accurate. I am not positive on what is wrong with the lower leg but perhaps it is that she has no calves. Her arm is not attached correctly, you might want to check a reference or look at yourself because I probably wont explain it clear enough, but look how the muslces connect to your pectoral area, it connects closer to just above the nipple area. The next few things depend on the look you were going for but look off to me... The jewelry going around her lower waist upper leg area appears like it has no weight, simply because it wraps around at the curvature of the butt where it would then continue falling, if that is what you were going for fine, but if not it should be held up just before the curve like her "skirt" is. I also think her expression could use some work... her body position seems to suggest more then the blank stare, perhaps a hint of a smile would work better.

I realize I have been picking at the picture, but it is simply to help you out on things you might not have noticed.

Sorry if it's already been mentioned, but it looks like some of your nurbs surfaces (I assume the use of nurbs...?) could have their render tess. bumped up a couple notches. You're getting some faceting on her hair and on the front of her blouse. Also, her legs looks a little too skinny, or a little to long, either way I suppose.

Over all, I'm really impressed with your modeling. And rigging. good job!

The problem is not Firefox, the problem is 1. Internet Explorer and 2. BBYAG's urls (well maybe more his bulletin board system that his ISP is running)

First up [2] - just to be different

BBYAG's website software allows one to cut and pages URLS\that\contain\backslashes\like\this.

Now problem [1] Internet Explorer

MS have a habit of catering to non-standard things. It's great for the user because we are now allowed to be a bit lazy with our HTML (like leave backslashes).

When IE sees the backslashes, it flips them and recomputes the URL so that it can request whatever is referenced from within the web page.

Firefox (which is based on W3C standards) does not do this by default, but you can make it do this. Just get Slashy (https://addons.update.mozilla.org/extensions/moreinfo.php?application=firefox&version=1.0&os=Windows&category=Miscellaneous&numpg=10&id=426) which makes Firefox do the fixing of the URL.

The URLs in the web page should really be fixed though instead of forcing the users to patch their browsers. Imagine the roads of your town had metal tacks on them, but instead of clearing the metal tacks, your town leaders decided that everyone should drive around in steam rollers :)

The feet need to be worked on more, check out your reference, they are a little to "plasticky"; in other words I don't get the sense that they are living flesh or that they could be walked on.
The area behind the knees needs work too. Check out what happens behind the knee when they are bent like how you have your character posed.
Overall I like what you have done in photoshop to give the sense of magic through your choices in glow and blur.
Nice job, but push it further.

Lovely pic. Though many people deslike these (to) smooth Korean images, I love them. At the moment I'm trying to get a skinn texture just like yours. Could you maybe share us some info on how you created this image?
There are to minnor things that need a bit of work. (on the highres image.) Her left arm looks bad at the place were it bends and the hair between her waist and her right arm doesn't look to good either.
