Hello,

I was wondering what would be the best way to render Cg elements that are going to be composited into NTSC, Beta SP video.

Should I render in fields, interlaced, non-interlaced? Any help will be great! Thanks.

You should really only render in fields if you are doing sharp motion graphics/logo animation work. (sometimes frames look fine also)

Otherwize, for almost everything else frames are often your best best. If you are outputting to DV NTSC you should output your resolution to 720 x 480 with a pixel aspect ratio of ".9" NTSC doesn't use square pixels like computer screens do. Never outputted to beta before, but I'd assume those settings sure work.
