Hello, this is my first post at cgtalk :D
I have been playing around with painter 8 for use in my 3rd year uni animation and this is a piece that came from my doodles and sketches.
It is kinda based on an adam and eve but fantasy thing. (or rather just eve and the snake, adam was probably takin a leak at the time lol...)
Anyway here are the images sketch and current progress...
(hopefully pics work now!)
Gotta bit of work to do on it, like background (colors and hills need reworking)
What do you guys think?
either its me (my browser) or brinkster. i had to type in the adress into the browser to see them. ( using opera).
i think it looks great so far. allthough i liked the pose in the sketch better than the one in the second pic ( her left leg & her head/face ).
looking forward to see the progress

Cheers gomez21, I changed my image host to image shack also so hopefully works now!
What was it u liked about the face in the sketch? is it that she has one eye? also what about the leg? my only prblem with the leg in the sketch is that the balance looked a bit off so i moved it back a little. Not that it is a realistic pose!
thanks for crits keep em comin!

yeah,i'd go with gomez, the 1st piece looks better, the flow and the line of action is pretty welldone:)i'm not sure if its a moon or sun u did,but if its a sun,i think the lighter tone should be glow outside the ring.or maybe thats the way u want it since u are after a fantasy cortoony approach

Cheers guys, I went back and rethought the whole pic...
Here are the results...
Went back to sketch pose, added a better face and went for a more painterly style (inspired by Don Seegmillers Character Design and digital painting book :D its awesome!)
