View Full Version : How do I make a counter?
Nerra 02-21-2005, 03:52 PM I need to make a simple counter which goes from zero to a any given number (ex. 4800) over a period of time.
Its just for a simple stats video where I've animated some graphs and I want a counter on top of each graph to count up to the given value.
Thanks in advance.

put an expression in a text source property.
type : "time" as an expression

I've tried that. It just displays a time code. I want it to start at 1 or 0 and go up to a number that I specify over a period of time that I also specify.
Any ideas?

Under Effects...Text > Numbers...Set Decimal places to 0 and then keyframe parameter value/offset/random max from 0 to 4800 over time. Should work. All the best.
