Possibly it will be an uber-cool/good integration between the two?
Just a thought

I'm guessing that it may be something like the dot XSI initiative from Softimage, offering plugins for Maya and 3DS MAX to export scenes to XSI... I hope it's something more interesting than that...

riley_ag - I hope it is something nice, because having Lightwave and max as part of the tool set...man I love both applications!

Perhaps its a Max to LW crossgrade deal...

steve, I'm not to sure...there is another page with this deal already. HERE (http://www.newtek.com/buynow/software/lw_compet.html)

Why would they keep one link a secret and advertise on another?

The plot thickens...

A hacker couldn't do a better job!

3DSTUDIO MAX on Newtek pages!

I hope they'll explain it quickly!

btw, what's the meaning of adding a link so confusing?
it's not a hype on a promo, because it's not publicized (making people wander..) it's very strange!

There is a Max to LightWave cross grade for $995.00! You even get to keep your copy of MAX.. If you are interested in details, let me know.

You should set up an advertising program in which you give me a free copy of Lightwave, and I show it to all of my friends, no charge!

I keep scratching my head each time I see MAX on Newtek's site...
what if the same happens to those two apps like what happened to Alias and Wavefront?
Wouldn't that be weird?

any news on this yet??

Ill post the info on the News section, but it has nothing to do with both apps running in unison/merger as one.

there just saying that you can use the Newtek Editing products with your own X 3D aplication.
Wether there is a price reduction on the Edting/compositing bundle if you own X 3D app is unkown yet , or unclear

3D app render out, TGA, IFF, or other. Bring it into Toaster, or Eyeon Fusion

Done
