i have mental ray 2.1 and license for softimage can i use it with maxr4 directly

Yes, you can use Mental Ray with 3DSMax but you need the connection software for Max to be able to communicate with it.

you need the connector ... but i didnt know you could use the one from Softimage to Max just like that ... i'll try this one out :D
