View Full Version : Using Maya XP cd in os X

I might buy Maya Complete Edu vers. but I am not sure if I may want to change different OS when I see how it works.SO,if i buy a WIn Xp Maya cd, will it work in OS X?

when you order maya (also edu) you get the full package off all operating systems.
also all of this installation cd´s install complete and unlimited.
it is only your license that makes your copy a mac complete or something else.
at least it was like this with me ... correct me if I am wrong :D

You only get all OS cd's with an upgrade, so you have to specify what OS you're going to be using when you license your copy, like mimo8 said.

I would suggest after you buy it that you ask Alias if you can get a 30 day demo license for both you mac and your pc. That way you can choose which machine you want the license on without going through the hoops of transfering it.

Transfer is free under platinum support. I don't know if they will transfer it for edu licenses.
