My first post to this forum. After looking previous daily sketches im almost embaressed to put my sketch here. But i hope i get better in future.

While cleaning, better watch out that those skeletons stay in closet

Ok...

Pencil, Intuos II, PS 5. ...........3 hours ........... And yes, I know, it's lame!
I do need to practice.

edit:
Somebody (offline) already asked me what the hell this means, so - Old Winter is lagging behind cleaning after Autumn and now it's Spring's turn to clean and she wants him out of the way. And that's dandruff-snow falling out of his hair.
Like I said - lame...

edit: picture deleted

Sylverwyvern: that´s pretty funny... I hope it is not inspired in you own experiences :scream:

and it also reminds me of a sequence of an spanish film "amanece que no es poco" when a cop says: I can´t stand there´s no god! and starts shooting at the sun ... so funny in spanish: no aguanto más este sindiós!!!

Xillion, I haven´t been able to see yours cause it keeps loading for ages, so... I´ll tell later

Goro, that kick ass :applause: who´s the one that is flying?

Cheers

Ok Goro... then I think I´m flying over the mess  safe in the air yeah!

Xillion, I finally saw it, I like the approach you make to the final image, it´s kind of new for me. It seems very detailed even in the first drawing. I´ve never tried something like that, I usually make the first shapes, lights and details later on.

Still having a bit of trouble figuring out how to post pics on the forums but here goes...http://norvomics.com/MoreArt/Gallery/SpringCleaning_001.jpg

Anywayz... Pencil and Paper Sketch... Scaned into Photoshop CS ... Wacom Tablet... mostly Airbrush tool and Eraser Tool... little Burn and Dodge...

Actually this is a new approach for me too. This is the first time I try to paint this way. After reading some tutorials (one by Roberto Campus and one by Steven Stahlberg) I decided to use this technique.I tend to loose myself painting directly with colour. This way I can focus more on values and then bring in the colour (painting in color mode with photoshop). I hope it will lead to good results. If anyone here uses this technique I'd gladly hear some hints!!!

Man, I am exauhsted from the fight club - no time to sketch today, but there are some cool things here.
Goro - Hilarious!
norvamn - Nice drawing. I need to do that to my studio. It's gotten a little out of hand here.
CodeNothing - I love the sketch. The character is great, and the amount of detail in the background really adds a lot of interest.

EDIT: CodeNothing - nice - the color and lighting really brings it to life.

40% fragmentation?! How did you even pull that off?!

By first rendering a movie-clip from your cam that becomes 8gb, then you have to make a copy uncompressed as well that's 4gb and last remove the 8gb file. Then you have alot of other files as well, big ones. I guess that makes it. :p

Goro I ain't in there huh? :p

WhiteRabbit... Good Expressions on the face... Nice lose style...

beebie... I like your characters... I'm a little confused about where they are standing... is it a grave yard or a garden with crosses?.... maybe if the crosses were white I wouldn't think it was a grave yard... (sorry... just an observation...) but really nice little characters...

Dream Master.... wow! that looks cool... did you do it in Painter?

CodeNothing.... Maaaaaan that just blows everything away... nice job....

Jannis... I really like this one...

So, here´s mine...
The lighting direction is not very clear, let´s see if next time it´s better

http://www.iespana.es/dreaming3d/19-spring.jpg

2 hours in photoshop with a graphire tablet.
I added a sharpen mask afterwards as it has poor resolution. But... I´m not sure about this last step, I mean, somethings look better but I think this sharpen mask is not a good trick... I don´t know, let me know what you think of it, I´m just a begginer :)

SoniaNotRed: seems that we have a similar idea  yours is a very nice sketch, I like the winter charachter, and also like the fact spring being an strong female (when you´re allergic, spring is not that sweet)
Norvmen: funny idea, strong colors! love the cartoony style, wish I could draw like that a bit
Three: I think that would be "seeking for oil"
Codenothing: amazing sketch and lighting
Dream Master: love the palette and the textures
beebie: good sketch, sweet theme
HerOd: I like the strokes on yours, also the idea

good sketches everyone!

Heheh, I see it now, awesome Goro. I look so little and so dead! :D

Am so not painting today, my scalp hurts so baaaadly. I've just had my hair rebraided today and I've got a killer headache after ten hours' worth of pulling and tugging at my poor hair. Braids are curly this time though, and reach all the way down to my butt, am so happy :}

Maybe head hurts less tomorrow. For painting and such. Wonderful work, everyone :]_]

Um, even me who is a geek (and a hairy one at that) shaves my armpits. The only reason is that the hair keeps the smell even if you have washed yourself. So, no smell and it's hygienic as well to shave the armpits, even if it hurts like hell to use deo afterwards it's still good for you. >.O

Anyway, no need to say more about that. :)
