CG Auctions is a brand new idea of an e-commerce site for every computer graphics amateur and professional from all over the world. We bet that you know eBay (http://www.ebay.com/) and how does it work so we decided to create a similar site but devoted only to Computer Graphics and related subjects.

So basically if you have ever created any model, texture, blueprint, plug-in, script, shader, HDRI map, sound, tutorial etc. and you're it's rightful owner, or you donít use your old hardware, software, books and other stuff and you want to sell it, this site is perfect for your needs!

You do not need to spend your own money for a private e-commerce site, hosting services etc. Just register, sign in and start selling!!!

If you are a company which produces any of above mentioned goods you can sell them as well.

For now Selling on CG Auctions is totally FREE until further notice. Donít hesitate and start selling immediately for FREE.

Visit http://www.cgauctions.com (http://www.cgauctions.com) for more information.
Enjoy!

- It is just a coincidence that two of these sites start at the same time?
- With almost the same name?
- See what I mean: http://www.cgtalk.com/showthread.php?p=1985813
- Best of luck to the both of you.

I notice both these sites have sections for software auction, although only one currently has any there.
Might be an idea for anyone who is currently up to date on the state of play to clarify just exactly which companies support resale of their licences as last I heard there are quite a number who don't.
One would kinda hope that both sites make themselves up to speed on this given they are specifically cg orientated unlike ebay. :)

that would be a useful addition to either site.

Hello Ed,

The main difference is that our auction (www.cgauctions.com (http://www.cgauctions.com/)) is live and run by different people (people sell and buy stuff) while the other site is dominated by its owner and there's no auction yet created by any other user...
