Hi,

normally your video card has 3 outputs one VGa screen output, one TV output (the round one) and one DVI/Flatscreen output ( white one with plenty of holes in it it is white on mine :)) you plug your two screens one on the VGA one on the DVI there isn't a problem if you have only two CRT or LCD screens there are adapter to plug them. Once they are both plugged you go into your display properties and you should get a screen like this:

all you have to do is click the "extend my windows desktop onto this monitor" and click apply normally you should have two monitors up and running after maybe you'll have to change screen resolution etc. but I think that is the main part for setting up a dual display

good luck with it, you'll see it is great working like that

you will have problems with games that don't recognise the dual monitor setup.

often your mouse can go off the edge of the screen and when you click you'll be ripped out of the game.

The Radeon drivers let you set profiles so i have one setup to turn off the secondary screen for when i play games.

With nvidia, the drivers simply disable the second screen and play the game on the "primary" Only a few games that I have played are capable of displaying at resolutions dual displays will give you (EX: 3200x1200, or 1600x1200 x2) Most quake based games will work like this, though its awfuly annoying to have the crosshair on the split between screens :)

edit: Actually, this depends on how you setup dual monitors.

If you do the "expand desktop on this monitor" method, provided above, you will have the second monitor active, if i remember correctly. If you use the nview tool that comes with the drivers, it will disable the second monitor.

It may just be me, but the nview method seems faster, in terms of performance, and gives you more options.
