This walk isn't 100% done but im thinking its pretty close to done, this is for my demo reel. feel free to comment on it, its not a dynamic walk its supposed to be a sexy casual walk.

Hi man,
I think that in offsetting the cog yuo lost a bit of the timing; when the body is leaning on one foot, the hip of that leg should be up; and your girl is doing almost the opposite;hope is useful.

I think there's some 'popping' of the arms when your charc's arm is swaying backwards, You might want to look into that, and with such a huge movement of the hip, your shoulder movement doesn't really seem to go together. Or this might be from the camera.

omg... i didn't even notice the poping in the elbow till u just pointed it out.. lol thanks the shoulder part i see what u mean.. i'll try a little more up and down motion in the shoulders. thanks guys. i'll add a character rotation to this later on.

Hey James.

Just a few things:
When the heel goes to contact the ground her leg should be almost popped straight.
At the cross over (when one leg is contact with ground, other crossing over.) Her leg in contact with the ground whould be straight. She looks like she's walking like an orc with her legs all bent like that.
get summore more shoulder rotations to counter the hip rotations.
When her legs go forwards, rotate her hip forward for the same leg a bit more.
I don't know the exact walk/style you are going for. But arms dont normaly go behind the back when walking. Unless you're the big lebowski on an acid flashback. What a sweet walk that was.... anyways. On a tangent..
Get some clavical animation in there too. Same idea as the hips rotating fowards with the respectable leg.

Ok, thats enough for now.
PS, try putting a sad face expression on her if you're animating a sad walk, or a happy face expression for a happy walk. Helps to stay in character with a walk.

I agree with pretty much everything said so far. Some other things I'de note:

She walks very bow-legged; similar to a cowboy walk. A sultry walk has the upper legs contact thought the entire walk... Classy ladies keep there legs as closed as possible. Assuming you are going for a feminine walk, I think that her strides are to long. About twice the distance is covered that you should expect. A sharper, smaller stride with large hip movements will sell the cycle.

Hey, Thanks guys i'll try all that stuff out thanks so much, I added another 2mb clip its not a walk, but its the same girl breathing. (not done yet but getting there). I'm going to add this breathing cycle if you want to call it that to my character rotation so that way it's not so static and bording, feel free to Critique the walk or the breathing. Thanks again guys

hey guys, i tried out your suggestions i came up with something, hope its a little more what you were looking for (note i didn't have time to make everything work 100% like the legs pop a little and the arms are messed in some parts.. but its 4:30 am and im heading to sleep) i'll post a front and side view of what i've got so far, and tomorrow afternoon sometime i'll hopefully post a more completed version. thanks for all your help please comment on what i've got and what's better/worse from what i changed from the previous walk. Thanks

PS from the front view the shoulders might be swinging a little too much.. comment if you think they are.

New updated girl walk. i think its finally done or near it, for the time being i'll work on her rotation or something, i made it more like all of your suggestions thanks for the help everyone.please comment on it. thanks

hey, itz looking pretty good, the wrist and the head movement is pretty good. The crits i can see is when the girl walks, the legs is crossing a little be too much when you're legs @ sideways are not giving that much of a momentum. As well, when your arms are swing backwards, and the back-most posistion, your elbow is almost stright, i think it'll look more natural if you give it a bend, a little one would be good. as the front view of your arms swing goes, it'll look nicer if your bend the arms towards the body as it swings inward.
