hide scripted modifier in stack...possible?

hi,
is it possible to create an invisible scripted modifier that is not only invisible in the create list, but also in the modifier stack, when it's active?

what i'm trying to archieve is wrapping multiple modifiers into one interface.

No, as far as I can tell, if you add a modifier to an object, it has to become visible on the stack.
