Hi,

Looking into buying a storage server and the Dell (http://www1.euro.dell.com/content/products/productdetails.aspx/pvaul_745n?c=uk&l=en&s=nie)PowerVault 745N (http://www1.euro.dell.com/content/products/productdetails.aspx/pvaul_745n?c=uk&l=en&s=nie) looks like it might be the way forward. Has anyone had any experience with this?

Boxx has a support section for BoxxServer, but its not listed in their products, have they stopped making them?

Or, can you recommend something that might be better?

Cheers guys,

TBK

Both Dell's config and price seem to be ok...

I use as a storage server a laptop: Acer Aspire 1705 SMI -

P4 3.06HT, 1GB RAM (2700), 200 GB 7200 rpm, Go FX5600 128, 100 T-Base. It works very well, it is uder control of Win 2000. All Services (like UPS, and realted) are switched off... I suppose that nice Dell with SATA 0 or 0+1 matrix can be regard as a very delightful piece of equipment...!

Good luck!
