Painter friggin rocks. :buttrock:
It has so many brush options...if they could combine Painter's Painting tools and Photoshop's Selection tools and filters and what not it would be incredible.
Here's what i've done with Painter 7 so far....basically just testing it out. and practicing with textures.
sorry if this grosses anyone out...Painter brought it out of me.
it's not totally finished yet...hoping to add stuff to the white areas and i need to define all the edges.
C&C's are very welcome.

Interesting, certainly album cover material. However, I do wonder where people get their ideas.

My thats unique

Here is a cool tip for P7, use Ctrl/H to hide all your panels while painting. And just hit it again to bring them back. Another cool thing is the rotation canvas tool (you can flip or spin the entire canvas around) that you get when you hold the Hand symbol down, and when you done painting at whatever angle just double click the rotate arrow, and it straightens up again.

Thanks for the comments guys.
Tool Cover? now that's a compliment. thanks mangled poly

Great tips Wacom Knight, they'll definitely come in handy.
one question though...after you rotate the canvas, do the watercolors run the same way as before or is it like flipping a canvas in real life? im assuming it's the latter.

also, can anyone recommend a somewhat cheap Wacom tablet or where to get them cheap?
Painting's a bitch to do with a mouse.

thanks again guys. i'll try to finish it soon and post an update.

Painting with a mouse...that doesn't sound like fun.

I picked up the cheapest wacom for $84 shipped from provantage.com. I've bought a few things from them, no problems, they shipped the same day from IL.

I have been officially disturbed. Excellent work! Painting with a mouse is like spreading butter on toast with a shovel. Wonder what will happen when you get your hands on that Wacom...
