Sensable produces force-feedback devices which let you hold a pen-like handle and move it around like a dentist's tool and interact with your model in 3D space, "feeling" the surface when the virtual tool touches it thanks to the force-feedback.
(we have a couple of these here at Frantic)
Good to hear there will be an actual modeling plugin for 3D applications, the device is pretty cool and rather affordable.

Is this going to be a plugin?
If yes, how can you work with a 2,439,396 triangles mesh?

how much is this pen/modeling device and the plugin for maya going to be...round about figure will be fine for mow.....??

I see... I've also watched the video on sensable's site, searched thorugh the products but.. no prices? Anyway looks like some post-predatorian technology to me:rolleyes:

It must be good, or will have it hard to compete with Zbrush at $495 8)
