love the work ... very warm and old school fantasy like... one thing .. i feel that the stars in the backgroup look a bit wierd thought... i guess because the sky is so bright and it's seem unnatural to have all the stars being so clear... may be try to make it less dominat would help

I agree with the above use. Again, nice use of colors. I like how you put both the sun and moon in the background. It adds warmth to the scene.

Wonderful image... I love the POV from the spear aliens. Good use of Depth of Field as the plant in the bottom left corner is blurred leading to the crisp center meeting of human and alien. Keep up the good work!!!

I hope they have another space contest soon, cause I've really enjoyed all of the work.

Hey Kory,

nice style. Does Ahsley Wood know you're using it?

And have you ever read that Dark Horse comic from mid ninties - propellor man? Definitely LOOKS like you have...

Gee, Spike was that sarcastic. I sure LOOKS like it was.
Yes, I am familiar with Ashley Wood. And No I haven't read the comic you are refering to.
As far as that goes I am assuming you were referencing one of my early character sketches.
Yeah a little too heavily influenced I have to admit. It's not really how I typically draw but his style is so compelling that I thought I would see if I could knock something out that was close. evidently I can.
Anyway it didn't carry through and the final character looks nothing like that first sketch which took about 45 mins to do.

In the future I would suggest you actually have some thing constructive to say.

Everyone else I appreciate the kind words and comments.
I didn't even realize this thread was here.
thanks again
