View Full Version : Learning 3D Character Animation DVD - price drop
Jeff Lew 02-16-2005, 12:33 AM Hey guys,
The price of my training DVD has just been lowered to bring it on par with the price of a book. Hopefully this will make it more accessible for those poorer students out there.

Hey Jeff, baught ur DVD last year - it's a great resource. Especially as I can play the DVD on my 2nd monitor, while working in Maya on the 1st
GREAT news thats it's even cheaper - any Animation students should get this right now! (even if its just for the out-takes hehe!)

Hey Jeff, Are you offering the same price if i get the Divx version, as i don't want to wait for the DVD to ship. On the web page the downloaded version is more, just wondering.
Thanks

Jeff,
These DVDs rock! I used AM back in the day, but it kept crashing. It was about 1998 or so. I wish I took the route you did with character animation instead of going generalist...oh well, you live and learn. Still, those DVDs (Divx version) taught and refreshed me a whole lot in a short amount of time. They were well worth the money, even at the old price.
Thanks,
Kev

Jeff,
It kicks a$$, plain and simple. I've watched it 3 times already, and always pick up something new. The last section on the jump kick thing really showed me the blending of pose to pose and straight ahead techniques.
Thanks,
Kev

I can't wait for my copy to arrive, I have several books, and while they are great reference, you simply can't gain as much information from a book as you can from a DVD..
Thank you so much for the excellent price, I am a poor student in my final semester, and the price is just perfect =)

Hey Jeff,
always good to hear prices dropping ;)
I dont know if someone around here is stealing my mail or the transport ship sunk but i still hope to receive the DVD after almost 2 months and 2 shipments from your end. Was curious when you first released KB1 and still am.

Jeff is a killer animator and a great teacher, IMHO. The DVD covers all the basics about character animation.

This is a really great DVD, I love how it teaches you the fundamentals of animation, without getting caught up in the technacalities of the program. Great DVD! :)
