This is a BMW 330xi. As you can see this has been done for fun and self-promotion.

not bad...it almost looks too chromic, too shiny on the paint. I don't think I have ever seen a car quite that reflective

The modeling looks like it was well done, very nice overall.

Yes, it needs to be put in some sortof environment :D

my only suggestion is that the "dome" part of the car (interior, seats etc...) the frame that holds the windows and the roof it self look too thin, don't really know if it's a fault, just looks thin to me

other than that it's really great

Model looks good but as stated, the reflectivity looks overdone and is actually destroying the shape in places. You night want to play with the shadows, they are really letting this down at the moment. :)

My roommate also made some comments about the reflection before I posted this but he didn't really have much of an idea as to how to fix it. does anyone have any suggestions? it was rendered in max, the material is a raytrace with a reflection map. It took a while to get something that looked halfway like metal in the first place (this is the first time i've tried modeling a realistic automobile) so I don't have a huge foundation in things like realistic reflective painted metal surfaces. I think that i'm probably going to try reducing the influence of the reflection map and using a different bitmap.

update: here's the result:
