View Full Version : A Graphic card for After Effects and MAX

hi guys,

i will buy a card for video editing and 3d works(especially i will work on After effects and MAX) Before, i had worked for some little clips without a special card with After EFfects and i suffered!

So, if you can give me some suggestions for this i will be very peaceful about this problem. i can buy 400$ - 900 $ costed cards.

(my system AMD 3200 CPU, Windows XP,1 GB ram SATA raid 120 GB HDD.)

Nvidia 5900 (budget card IMO) i heard good about, personally id shoot for a matrox parhelia.

try parhelia, you'll have real time preview in AE and premiere
and max runs also, but parhelia isn't that good
for 3d stuff. i had some trouble with it,
driver probs mainly but if you want to do both, editing
and 3d, then parhelia will do.

what kinda probs? im really thinkin of gettin a cheaper 128mb one off of ebay. No way can i affford a 256
