Use PO Lite and bake the deformations, forget the Host Connection :p

i tried importing the model straight into messiah. and he's still missing physically. it reads as if
it's there but can't see it. i have an older model which i used the host connection and she's doing fine. could it be the model's bad? but if it is why is it still loading in lw. i don't know...

Try pressing the TAB key on the object in messiah. Or check for one or two point polys. it sometimes makes models become invisible it seems if it's both subpatches and 2 point polys in the same model.

I had that happen to me just the other day. I re-started Messiah and everything was visable again. Freaky. . .

Just so we're clear, are you saying that your objects in messiah disappear when you connect them to LW?
