not skylight/HDR illumination, 3 lights used (closed room, one window, one back door).

very nice... excellent lighting... i like this arnold renderer... is it 3dsmax only? where can i learn about it?

thx for the commentary. I have used 3DSMax for 3d work and Photoshop for the small design composition (types). Arnold information: www.3dluvr.com/marcosss.

i think the plastic surfaces, such as the computer casing, should be just slightly more specular, and a very slight bump map would improve things. And also if you're going for a real wood look on the desk, that could use a little tweaking too;)

where are the sockets in the power strip?

the lighting and setup are beautiful!

Hi, valkiryen:
The plastic material of my Armada M700 is 99% matte, but your affirmation is correct, I haven´t bump map (in the original material is very, very, small). mmmmm, in progress :applause:
The texture wood is real, but the pic resolution is small for apreciate it, and the bump of this wood is very little. I haven´t used the standart max textures. :p
The sockets it´s back of PC and under of the table.:p

Thx for the comments, work in progress.

nicely done.

It is just that some of the elements of the computer seem to be blended together, but I guesss that is just the resolution of the image.

the power surge seems like it has no plugin spots!

Sorry, I've understand your question, problems with the vocabulary, jejeje.
Due to the perspective in that shot the plugin spots of the power surge can't be seen, but they are there.

Cheers.

Buenas tardeessss.....

Well, there's nothing I can say about the lighting, that Arnold thing is excellent... (but seems to me that Marcos's friends are the only ones who can enjoy his program :P )
Modeling is pretty nice as well, the only thing that doesnt look as realistic as it should is the screen of the computer, maybe. Try making it look a bit more shiny. Just an opinion, though.

Nice job, keep it up.

Saludos

Si es que parece que todos le conocéis menos yo. Pero existe realmente? :)

See you in #3Danimation...

Hola gabe || neutra :)

Really god job there... the keyboard is really detailled and very nice modelled.
In the first pic the wires are really realistic. But maybe the table has not yet enought props,... and the screen looks a bit strange although maybe is the view... :)
Anyway... it's a great job.
Btw... your web has a really cool presentation.. but.. nothing more! :D Hope we can see more of your stuff soon!

wood, wood, wood...:scream: :scream: :scream: :scream:
si al final tendré que cambiarla, xDDDDDDDDDDDD

Thx for the comments Pablozz.

the M700 screen doesn´t shine, maybe this may cause a rare sensation, whatever, the resolution is poor, the original image was 1500x713 pixels large.

The web it´s in progress, thx fot the interest.

Best Regards.

Gabe muy buen trabajo :) Arnold es todo un mito entre los renderers, eres muy afortunado en tenerlo. Por cierto cuanto tardo el render en generarse????

Gabe very good job :) Arnold´s a complete myth in the renderers, youre lucky for having it. By the way how much time the render took????

Hi, paco:
Thx for the translation (todo un detalle). :p
Sorry, but I can´t speak of software details (time rendering, etc...).

Nice renders! You can't speak of Arnold and not expect people to ask questions about it. I mean, there has been nothing new posted about it in quite some time, and boom, you post some beautiful renders done with it. And the fact that you don't disclose the render times or details leads me to believe it is rather slow. I only say this because I too am curious about it, and wonder what the reasons are for the mystery around this renderer, will it be further developed?

gabe || neutra
10-20-2002, 04:54 AM
pardon for the delay.

thx say-g and Tbonz816 thx for the compliments.
Tbonz816 sorry but I´m tester not creator or developer I´m not authorized to give information on the software, Arnold is a beta and it´s in development and there´s a lot of competition.

Gonmax, en el IRC hay de todo, todas las opiniones son respetables, aquí también me dicen que guay y que chulo.

I have erased the wireframe attachment (page 1) and the substitution for cartoon shader test.
