Can anyone tell me how to create a realistic golf ball in Cinema 4D?

Just off the top of my head maybe creating the holes as spheres and using a bolean? Or you could perhaps displacment map it.

You can use a free plugin called "Place on Points". It has a very powerful matrix and array system.
