Hello there, my first post... I am nervous he he...
"you be big... me be small" he

Ok, this still is from one chapter of a future soccer series for TV that I am working on here in URUGUAY.
The first animation will be in a couple of weeks.
Just want comments and critiques about the style, the look, the bad. We tried to achieve something original, but I loose objetivity in the way... sigh! . So ANY comment welcome.

This one shows all the characters together (except for the referee and the contrary goalkeeper), I have stills from other shots on demand or in the site http://www.animalada.com

Cheerz !!!
 (we never get bored of this uh?)

PD. Gongz to all our neighbors (brazil) who are world champion again !!!

Pretty clever picture; I like the grass as it looks pretty good.

I might recomend a little bit of blur on some of the players foot because it is kicking the ball at high speed. If not blur then maybe a motion trail.

Nice, I like it. The good thing about the cartoony lookin stuff is that it is easy to texture, liek with the style you do in this picuture. Well done, the grass is great.

Yes, in the animation there is motion blurr, but in this still was turned off. Thanks.
Glad that you like, I agree in that about cartoony with textures it´s not so cartoony... :bounce: I love this smiles...

I upload a close up of another character. There are little texture mapping, but we take care in the shader, notice the skin and the cloth.

Really great stuff! I like the designs, and the shaders and lighting are excellent. How big is the team working on this?

all i would say is to try and make the poses more dynamic especialy the guy kicking the ball hes looking to casual too me

Thank you for the advises and compliments. Yes the first pose is totally casual like "posing for a picture" it is not an extract of the animation unlike the others. It´s like a poster.

We are just 2 guys for now, Roque and me. We are just starting in this business, this is our first animation of Characters.

I hope that the final animation will like you as does the images

¡Que Padre! ___

Su imagen me recuerda la animación de Japón. Hecho en 3D por supuesto. ¡Materia De la Diversión! ¡Quisiera verla moverse! ¿Dónde están los caracteres de las muchachas?

HOLA!
¡Hey Bro, here is what your character in the first post is distracted by! ¡Sonrisa! ¡Just 2 STARS? Oh well, at least u like my work...I am glad! ¿Is this going to be a short series or longer story arc? ¡Oh a propósito, estoy intentando conseguir una mezcla experimental de las reuniones del shader del toon y realistico en mi trabajo! ¡Se permanece en contacto, senor! ¡Recuerdos!
paz y buena suerte

HHHHHHHAAAAAAAA HAAAAAAAAAAA HAAAAAAAA
I don't believe this picture !!! I love it man, I will print it and stick it in my monitor to inspire me !!! haaaaaa haaaaaaaaa
"Pelotazo" now really has a way of promotion !!!! huaaa huaaa
Cooool bro......hoooo hoooooooo
In relation to your question in have to say that we are in the same way of you, making a project and then trying to sell it. Pelotazo pretends to be a short series of 13 chapters of 1 minute each. It surely can grow to a full serie or even more... it all depends.

I LOVEEEE some NEO-GEOOOOO games METAL SLUGGGGGGGGGGG AAHHHHHH

Gracias por los comentarios. Estuve hablando con mi colega y a el también le gusta mucho tu estilo diferente y todos esos bocetos con buenas ideas !!! los helicopteros ultralivianos y lo demas estan muy buenos !!!

I think the lighting can be improved a wee bit especially the signboard wan. It looks as though the spotlight is just in front of the board. Unless you really going for a very cartoonish style then i'll keep my mouth shut. LoL!

Overall, love the concept and can't wait to see some animation. :applause:

Nice style overall. The main thing I would look at is the boots. They're flat on the bottom whereas soccer boots are curved on the bottom.

I think this little change would lend more credibility to the players.

Best of luck with it

Heres my opinion.

I loved your character design's and the look.

But when i watched the animation i felt sorta let down.
I think the animation needs alot of work, grounding the characters especially. I think you need to fix some timing issues, especially on the goalkick. WTF is with the matrix spin around.. I think everyone would agree that we've all seen that WAY to much.
I know you know about the grass crashing through but ill say it anyways, I found it a bit distracting.
The characters RULE... and i love the design work.
But i wasn't happy with the short.
Just my opinion. I hope it helps.

Thank you for the critiques, we love objective opinions from the pro comunity. And your comments are well detailed, very very thanks.
Have in mind that the series are designed to be out in just ONE WEEK each one.
Again thank you very much for opinion. Sure it helps.
