looks pretty good but the jump is too slow. he seems to float through the air, or a slow motion feel to it. keep up the good work.

Hey, not looking all that bad. I agree with Bob. The jump is too slow. The anticipation is nice. The only other major thing I see going on here is some twinning. Look at your character's arms. They both move the same and at the same time. Think about how you move. Our movements are never completley symmetric. Looking good though.

thanks guys!!! :)
first of all, i want to tell you i'm a huge manga fan.....an i think this reflect my work(the floating in the air part)
about the arms you're right :) . at first i have the same problem with legs...vrey symetric but as you see i've changed that.
i'll continue tot work:) because animation is so much fun :)
thanks and good luck to you all :)

Maybe he could have some difficulties with pulling out that turnip. That would be fun...

if the jump was done to appear like a manga, then, you should push it to the extreme.
I explain.
In mangas there are a lot of codes used : when they jump and float about half an our, they use more plans so do your animation with more plans.
You can use some stop positions in your animation like in mangas.. And i'm sure you can find a lot of others things.
Ok, we may loose some movements but the result will be sure more dynamic and certenly more close to what you want to do.
Well that's a very great first animation!

Fun animation you have here, I agree with bob that the jump floats abit too long.
Also, thought you should know, when youre caharc was anticipating, the feet seems to slide, adding a step back before the jump would be awesome! This goes to when he pulls out the tulip as well.
And you said this is your first animation?! Its so much better than my first one, haha. Continue, is what i'd say! Keep up the good work!
PS. Looking forward to your fireball into universe!
