Hi!

I am just at building a shading-network that outputs the light intensity.
I use the surface luminance utility, a ramp and a normal surface shader. As the intensity values can get greater than 1 i want to remap the values the surface-luminance gives me to [0;1]. the only problem is, i donīt know how i sould get the highest value the surface-luminance ever gives out, as i need this as my upper boundery...

example:
srf-luminance gives me values from [0, ??] this gets into set-range to be remapped to [0;1] this goes into ramp as uValue...

any ideas?

you can use the clamp node for that..
