View Full Version : Isn't HDRI possible in Max using the new .tiff format?
googlo 09-14-2002, 04:03 PM I remember reading this somewhere in a review for Max R5 on the internet. Can anyone else shed more light on this subject?

Googlo, I'm pretty sure it does support the tiff format, haven't tried it yet, but I did read that as well. I think the tiffs are unclamped so to speak.

Yes it is possible. You just have to use floating point tiff's.
Get HDRShop (http://www.debevec.org/HDRShop/) to convert HDR images... It's free :)

:bounce: I'll check out, thanks for sharing!
I wonder why they aren't responding to anyone about their link problem? Some posts in their forum about it have been there for a few months with no replies yet
