In your lip syc piece, I can't comment on the actual lip syc because there is no good view of the face. Globally she seems to float up and down, and she never really reaches any poses. Looks like only certain parts of her are in poses at any given time. I can tell you put some thought into hand movement alot.

Good work and keep going!

thanks for the comments, i WILL fix that floaty-ness and try to add solid-er poses.

Surprisingly enough the hands were the last thing i did and quickest, so of course the beginning is rougher than the ending. gotta balance it out.

okay from one Colin to another, awsome work man, however, the lipsynch was, as has been said before, floaty. too much movement. As a pixar employee once said, get what your doing and do it. For the reel the common thread i saw was that you need more slow in and out. everything should settle, my favorite anim was the spider sticking his leg into the block. when he sticks it in and kind of sidles forward, that is gold. on the second pull though the weight just stops and he becomes very stiff, even that should settle, parts of the spider should go back further than others then settle. Also the block looks like it should be heavy die to the spiders reaction but it doesnt feel heavy because it tips so easily, its like its on a very heavy sliding hinge....if that makes any sense. The flipping guy was also cool awsome infact until the end when he just stops. all the weight you worked so hard on is gone. Same goes for the running rabbit dude, at the end of the run the ears come down too late and dont bounce back up like they would and the weight just stops. Im sorry for being frank but sugar coating isnt atkins approved, i made a funny. anyway hope this helps and seriously you have some good work there.

Thanks Throst,

I know what you mean about slow in and out, for the Martial Arts spin kick guy, i ended it because the project had to be 2 special moves, so him landing and settling was just how i tried to end it.

any suggestions as to OTHER ways he could land the weight without losing it?

Thanks again
-Colin
