Hi im new to lightwave (Have been using max for a while now) and I'd like to know if it is possible to render the perspective view (like u can doo with max and maya) without having to set up camera angles. Or is it possible to set the camera to perspective for example when u press Ctrl + C in 3dsmax, the perspective view becomes a camera, can I do this in lightwave?

Please help
Thanx

I remember that someone made a plugin that would do just that, its available from FLAY.COM. I very much recommend that you go to www.flay.com, it is the website of record for plugins and news about Lightwave. (Its my homepage.)

Go there and look for the plugin...

Take a look here: http://thespread.ghostoutpost.com/
and download PViewMC (v2.3) and PViewGN (v.2.0).

My statement is based on 8.2 so I'd have to say that's incorrect.
Works daily in 8.2 for me, no problems.

Please see my edit above. Is it just my installation?

Try PViewGN (v.2.0)... it really works perfectly with LW 8.2.

Yeah, sorry, I mistyped. PViewGN works great. It is PVViewMC giving me trouble. Does PViewMC work with your 8.2 too? It just crashes Layout when I try to use it on my system.
