View Full Version : loft in lightwave 3d
Hi guys,
I saw a tool in 3dmax 6 that I will like to use in lightwave. The effect in 3d max was the "loft"
I just want to know if lightwave have an instrument of that kind.

Create a spline and set it as the background layer, place your "lofting" polygon shape at the start of the spline and use "Rail Extrude" under the menu "Multiply" inside Modeler.
Thank you, petterms
Tha Rail Extrude was the instrument that I was looking for.

Note you can have more than one spline in background (as many as needed); you can extrude, in this way, along more directions at the same time: every spline is used as a local boundary.
Fast and powerful! ;)
