hey guys,

is it possible to change the pivot while moving/rotating/scaling some sub-objects (vertex, polygons, etc.)??

I post 2 pictures to explain better what I mean:

PICUTRE 1: If I select a bunch of vertex like shown in the picture, the pivot appears at the centre of the selection.

PICTURE 2: I need the pivot in the point marked in the picture 2.

I know, maybe it's a silly question and the answer is obvious...but I've never found out how to do that. Is there any way?

There's a little button next to the Reference Coordinate System rollout which defaults to "Use Pivot Point Centre" (the buttons under it are "use selection centre" and "use transform coordinate centre"). It works in conjunction with aforementioned reference coordinate system, but there are too many possible combinations to list them all. Just have a play around with it and it'll start to make sense.

tnx for your help!

Put Use Selection Center or Use Transform coordinate center. Activate the snap with vertex on(or edge), and then go to the vertex you want(must be selected) to be the rotation center and rotate ;)

okay guys,

I've done it. It was all about Use Transform Coord. System.

Thank you very much for your help.
