View Full Version : Preview: Fast IK 2.5
In action: Fast IK 2.5 (http://vwdesign.hypermart.net/downloads/Fast_IK_2.5.avi)
I did a little video capture of the latest version of Fast IK (not released yet--but soon) in action.
Ik chains are created in realtime now (like Maya, for example). There have been some other improvements and added features, as well.

Wow!Looking good.
So it creates the IK chain from the bones setup automatically?
It knows which direction the goal is supposed to be?
Double wow!

Datsa good!!
"So it creates the IK chain from the bones setup automatically?"
No, you select the bones (start and end), then the ik chain will be created. If you've ever used Maya/Max, which have ik solvers, you'd know what I mean. Fast IK basically simulates that type of feature.

Oh.........cool.
Its going to be very cool indeed.
Looks great Cim!
I have one request from using v2, could you make the created null in the Ik chain, "Bone_IK", be created locked and invisible? That way I only see and can only touch the "Bone_Goal". Thanks!
"Is it gonna be free or for cost?"
It'll be shareware with an annoying popup :-) and very minor limits or $5 to register (free updgrades for life). It'll also include a script for quickly changing Controllers.
"...could you make the created null in the Ik chain, "Bone_IK", be created locked and invisible?"
I've added the locking part already, I'll make it invisible too.
