time: don't know, I was watchin' the 2nd half of the Holland-England game...

Some Japanese male gamecharacters look quite feminine... :D
Here's my attempt at replicating the style (not an existing character btw)

The Damned: Heh... nice strokes!
crazy3dman: What do you do for a living man? You could be a book illustrator!
Her0d: Beautiful stuff and quite original too! Fantastic use of colour.
Enayla: I'd hate you for being so damn good, but instead I'll just sit down and take lessons. Great contrast of detail and simplicity.
MustardWash: Love your unique cartoon stylings.
pulver: You're getting better and better!
Art2: For some reason this is my favourite piece so far. You've really nailed the style. It reminds me a lot of Tetsuya Nomura's work. Extremely well done.

Say, how can I get my images inside my actual post (meaning, not just put a link to another web sapce)? Not that I've actually been participating a lot so far (just one...) but my wacom is due tomorrow :bounce: (veeeeery excited :) )

Hope I'll get the time to participate some more, I'm a great fan of this group.

Cheerio !

erilaz - Thanks. Actually my goal is to be able to do illustration full time. Right now I do a lot of art direction and design work for marketing and advertising:shrug:. But for about the last year or so, I've been making a real push to try to get illustration work. Self promotion is the toughest thing to find time for though, and I think that's the key to making it happen.

Art2 - Very nice line work. I think you've got the style down pretty well.

Yup, it's a guy.
No, I definitely can't buy him a drink.
And I've got HORRIBLE taste in women."

...me too...

It reminds me a lot of Tetsuya Nomura's work.

Yeah, FFVIII was the first thing that came to my mind. Liked his FFVII work better tho.
Thanks mate, you too crazy3Dman!

good work guys.
decided to go 'old time'
really quick. about 30.

edit; decided to change it. the older one's anatomy was off
the steretypical view of a guy in the future. bald head, macho looking, with a big robe on. thus 'yup... its a guy'

1 hour photoshop. I should really be doing work, but procrastination is so much more fun... Hmmmm I started this before I realized that this is an older daily sketch. Kind of late but anyhoo.

Everyone has met one of those girls who is just one of the guys.
