Superb!
I love the dino's skin and the camera angle.
Only one thing: the boy arm is a bit strange, the arm and the hand... but really a cool work!

The pic looks sweet. I'd love to see the animation but it seems like it would take 5 hrs to download it (and I'm on DSL).
Well RUNZAK, I took the time to download it (about 2 hours on DSL for those who want to know). And overall the characters look cool. The story seems like a good idea but had a few dull parts. It seems like a lot of time used for just one punchline.
But the part that really bugged me about it were all the sliding feet and walk/run cycles that didn't seem to match the ground speed of the characters or animals. In the part where he leaves his homestead, he actually floats mysteriously above the ground.
Good models, textures and characters. Good camera work. But it needs some more work on the animation and story.

The content looks great from the supplied image, with well modelled characters and a very nice style, if I were to critisise based on that image my first comment would be to make the animals different at the moment they look too similar, slight size variations int he beasts and their jowels would probably suffice along with slight colour and pattern changes in individuals hides.
I haven't downloaded the animation, firstly why is it an exe and not a simple avi or mov? That will make people very wary of getting it. Secondly as I am on a 56K modem 60Mb is a major download, several versions are always nice 60, 30, 15 and 7 perhaps if you intend to tap the modem army.

hey RUNZAK
cool stuff indeed. a couple of things were bothering me, like those sliding feet that Kirt pointed out, and though that robot was obviously a machine, its movement were a bit too wooden for my taste. oh. and the music was a bit too much like "laurence of arabia" for me. its like one was waiting the whole time for THE big revelation.
but enough with that. i really liked your logo animation, as well as your main character. following that missile was a nice scene, too, and above all: kudos for producing a well done 5 minute animation all by yourself.
haha...that was sweet. Only took you a month and a half?! that's really fast....especially for 5 minutes! It looked really nice. I think your walk animations needed a bit of work...what was this made for? Did you make this at some school or something? Good work! :applause:

在这里看见你真好!在VFX上看到你的照片和你的作品,is very good。但人物在行走时感觉很飘,这个地方需要注意。:)

quite an impressive animation. The senery looked very nice, and set the mood. The creaters were intresting looking, too bad they all got blown up by the big robot!
Overall, I noticed a number of things wrong:
* The feet on the boy were sliding around.
* Some of the motions just went to completion and then the figure moving froze.
* What was with the glop comming out of his nose at the end?
Interesting short.

...did you really write that music? If so, it's pretty impressive, though like stimpy said it's a bit much at times. It's a bit too sweeping and epic at times, especially in places where what we're looking at is more or less static. Where'd you get the orchestra?
Otherwise pretty darn good for a month and a half! Yeah though, the walkcycles could use some tweaking.
I just had to say how wonderful your animation was!!! Very very good. I can't believe it took you a month and a half to make this, very impressive. Your the man. What do you do for a living?
This is just great great work. Keep it up and hope to see more really soon. :applause:

especially for a one man show, this definitely looks movie quality. Hats off to you, my friend. You're the stuff that makes the CG world tick. That is one wonderfully created video.
i just needed to know one thing. towards the end, when the guy ZARK looks at the woman, is that snotty that comes out from his nose or blood ( i ask cuz of the colour ) and if so... WHY ?
all da best in your future vids. look forward to seeing them.
cheers
Anyone know what happened to this guy!!??
Can anyone top him in story? I haven't seen any real full all the way through animations that are this interesting and done in this amount of time. What other animations have you guys seen like this?
