I have a dragon rider holding a chain to a dragon (to hold on)

I am using RB Coll with reactor and i find it limited to what you can do.

how do you guyz think i should animate it? Is there other ways to simulate a chain?

cheers 4 any help

-try reactor rope for simulation
-add chain geometry with path deform

reactor rope simulates on a spline. you then use the path deform WSM to deform the chain geometry using the reactor spline animation. It is possible to do the chain as a rigid body simulation,. set the pieces to concave mesh and fiddle with your collision tollerance. It depends on how real you want it.

I used this tutorial http://amiroff.com/ahadoff/tuto/chain.htm and when I create the animation i get stuck. All i want to do is have the chain get: lose tight, lose tight ... but i dont know how to animate it like that all i get are mass, friction and elasticity. Help me out guys plz
