Hey, all... I'm a bit new to Maya and I'd really appreciate some help ^^

I was rendering a basic city scene in Maya to use as the basis for a painting- however, regardless of what angle I render from, there is a big black shadow that doesn't belong there. This even shows up in IPR view.

I've uploaded several renders to

http://www.evasource.net/dump/Painting/01Cityscape/Renders/ (http://www.evasource.net/dump/Painting/01Cityscape/Renders/)

As you can see, the weird part is the shadow is not apparently cast by anything... it moves with the camera. It's been seriously bugging me, and I haven't found a solution anywhere- I was wondering if this was a common problem, and if so, whether it can be solved.

Thanks a lot!

It looks like the edge of a spotlight to me. It doesnt look like a shadow

Is it possible for the camera itself to be generating some sort of spotlight effect, thus causing this? If so, how would I go about switching it off?

Thanks for the reply, btw ^^
