Hi,
I'm looking to buy a new system that's better equipped to handle 3D modeling/animation.
For CPU: AMD MP 2000+ (something like 1.6Ghz I think)
I know that Boxx Tech uses the AMDs in theirs while Compaq/Dell uses Intel Xeon. Would Pentium 4 be a good possibility?
For Graphics card: ATI Fire 8800 GL
512Mb memory (PC2100 DDR)(to start)
The ASUS mother board that AMD recommends for their MP 2000+
Then your basics, ROM Drive (CD/DVD), Zip Drive, etc.)
Comments? Suggestions? :)
Oh, and would a AGP 2x/4x card fit in a 4x slot? I'd think it would but I don't know about AGPs. -Thanks
